SHORT INFORMATION ON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 6 SURABAYA
Junior High school 6 (SMP 6) Surabaya is one of the public school under the directives of directorate of Elementary of Education which is located at Jln Jawa 24 Surabaya east Java It is one of the Pioneering of International Standard School ( RSBI). It has vision to increase human resources by developing characteristic, attitude and skills based on religious and technology to become superior in academic ,non academic and global perspective .
At academic year 2010 -2011 Junior High School 6 Surabaya has 19 RSBI classes : Grade IX : 3 Classes , 8 Classes for grade VIII and 8 Classes for grade VII . To achieve the best educational output , Junior high school 6 Surabaya prepare accountable and qualified teachers , administrations staffs, librarians, technicians and laboratory staffs by cooperating with some Universities ( UNESA , ITS , UNAIR ) and English, computer courses . Junior High school 6 also tries to improve educational facilities such as the media Resource center completed with internet installment / WIFI area , Junior high school 6 is established 3 floors, 24 class rooms, Library, 2 Computer Labs, Science Lab, 2 Language Labs, health clinic,, Music studio, , hall , co-operation shop, student center, canteen, teacher room, principle room , guidance cancelling room and administration room, library .
To serve different academic ability, Junior High School 6 provides four academic programs. The matriculation program given to the students to achieve equal academic level , Placement test to place the students based on the ability in the class , The remedial program to help the slow learners , enrichment program to develop fast learners who has mastered the lesson for developing their ability .

- Provide the managing of education which are transparent ,accountable, effective , participative, and professional so that our students can graduate on time and they can continue their study to the chosen quality senior high schools
